Summer Shabbat Services Under the Sun

  • As restrictions ease during this pandemic, it is with caution and optimism that we are happy to announce the resuming of Shabbat Morning Shul Services!

    Services will be held during the summer at the outdoor pavilion at Rosmarin's Cottages, 12 School Road in Monroe. Services will be held Shabbat mornings 10:00-11:30 am.

    With the help of our committed board, in consultation with the Orange County Health Department, the following health and safety protocols are in place:

    • Registration is required (for consent of protocol and for contact-tracing);
    • The suggested limit of attendees outdoors is 100 (as long as protocols are followed);
    • Sanitize hands before entering (hand sanitizer will be available);
    • Mask/face-coverings are required (cloth masks will be available);
    • Social distancing must be practiced;
    • Only use and touch your own prayer book (provided);
    • BYOT – Bring your own tallit (not provided);
    • Water bottles will be provided, but there will be no food / Kiddush;
    • Children are welcome if they can follow guidelines and must remain near a parent at all times without moving about.   (There will be no children's program or playground); and
    • Attendees must confirm upon registration that they are not ill, don't have symptoms (headache, cough, nasal congestion, fatigue, muscle ache, loss of smell or taste, sore throat, nausea), don’t have a temperature above 100.4, have not been exposed to someone Covid positive, are awaiting test results or traveled to highly infected areas – all within the last 14 days.

    Looking forward to connecting once again in person and in prayer,
    Rabbi Pesach & Chana
